This notice initiates the 2 week community review period for the Publications Office METS Document Profile for General Information Packages developed by infeurope S.A. on behalf of the Publications Office of the European Union. This profile is intended for the ingest and retrieval of publication data maintained by the EU Publications Office: This profile may be of particular interest to the mets community since it is the first, to my knowledge, to make extensive use of the profile_context/resource_model/uses/use element implemented in version 2 of the METS profile schema. The target date for official registration of this profile is Monday, April 25, 2011. This profile will then be registered as http://lcnetdev.github.io/standards/mets/profiles/00000036.xml .
