METS Community Review period for University of North Texas Libraries METS Profile (April 17, 2015)

The University of North Texas Libraries has submitted a new METS profile for registration.

ABSTRACT: This profile describes the rules and requirements for using METS as an Archival Information Package (AIP) for general digital objects at the University of North Texas. Digital objects may contain files, groupings into fileSets and further organization into manifestations. This METS profile is used by the University of North Texas for all Archival Information Packages accessioned by the UNT Libraries' Digital Collections.

CONTEXT: This profile describes the METS records used by the UNT Libraries as part of the Archival Information Packages (AIP) in terms of the Open Archival Information Systems Reference Model.
