"METS: The Basics and Beyond" Workshop (May 26, 2010)

If you’re new to METS implementation, or trying to decide whether METS is the right encoding standard for you, there’s still room in a series of workshops on METS sponsored by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) Statistics and Measurement Program, and taught by METS Editorial Board Co-chairs and veteran METS implementors, Rick Beaubien and Nancy Hoebelheinrich. Entitled “METS: The Basics and Beyond”, this second, five-day workshop is broken up into modules and aimed at people who work in digital and physical libraries and would like to gain knowledge and skills for organizing the many and disparate components of individual digital resources. The workshops will be held in Washington, DC from June 28 – July 2, 2010.
